Positive Outcomes are Created Through Teamwork, Not Just a Caregiver.
At Caring Companions, we truly work as a team…a team that is dedicated to making our caregivers successful and our clients safe and comfortable. Our team includes active participation by both company owners, a Geriatric RN, a Supervisor, caregivers and an Office Manager. Collectively, we boast over 80 years of experience working with older adults and know how to best help clients have positive outcomes.
Our caregivers are professionally-trained to help people with their activities of daily living (ADL’s). To ensure our caregivers are well prepared, they are trained one-on-one by our team to address the client’s specific needs (diagnosis, individual capabilities and goals, use of assistive devices, personality, family dynamics, etc.).
We excel in working with clients living with specific diagnoses. If your loved one has a movement disorder like Parkinson’s, we provide specialized one-on-one training each caregiver on how to properly work with their client. We do the same for families living with a cognitive impairment. Training includes techniques proven to create a positive outcome for the client and their family. It can also include training for the family if necessary.

In addition to providing home care, we also spend a lot of time listening to families and helping them identify resources to create a positive outcome. Often times these are resources our families are not even aware are available. We work closely with placement Professionals, Geriatric Care Management Professionals, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists, Healthcare Advocates, skilled nursing agencies, hospice and Eldercare Attorneys.
