Long Term Care (LTC) Policies and How we Can Help
Many of our clients planned ahead and secured LTC policies. These policies can be instrumental in helping pay for care. Unfortunately, after paying into these policies for years, when the time comes to access benefits can be pretty confusing. As part of our service, we help our clients understand their policies and explain the claim process. We then provide ongoing assistance by filing reimbursement claims every two weeks, thereby taking that responsibility off of your already full plate!

Parkinson’s Disease (PD)
Our management team is actively involved In advocating for persons with PD. While there are similarities in how PD affects families, each person’s journey with PD is unique. Whenever we have a PD client, we ask a lot of questions to better understand the client’s specific needs. PD presents many issues related falls that need to be addressed in care planning and training. Generalized PD training combined with individually tailored training are essential to quality of care.

Dementia
Dementia is a complex disease with many, many variations and symptoms. Because the types of dementia are so numerous and diverse, there is no one approach to dementia care. However, there are proven techniques that can make the journey easier and less stressful for both the one with the disease and their care partners.
Depending on the situation, suggest or even require involving a dementia specialist up front to assist with the design of the care plan and introduce techniques for the care team to consistently follow. When the care team (including the family) follow these techniques the likelihood of a positive outcome is greatly enhanced.
